Vermont Bird Hunting Guide Service

The flight birds were very slow this last weekend...which was a huge surprise and I have no idea why the birds didn't was better, not hot and heavy but we had plenty of opportunities. The 2011 Woodcock season closes this coming \Monday Nov. 14th. Ruffed Grouse season continues through Dec. 31st. If the snow is not deep we can have some really good shooting after deer rifle season. Thanks for stopping by my blog and please stay tuned.

This is a photo of my young dog Jake. He is a little over a year old and came as a puppy from Kirby Mountain Kennel in E. Burke, Vt. Upon completion of his first season I can tell you....this dog has a nose. The final Jake count on died wild birds for 2010 was 49.....he is alot more intense than Tucker but he will be a great dog!
